The evolution of Keita Ono's model "SOLO GENERATION-2"!
The SOLO GENERATION-2 has been tuned with the PDC Asia Tour in mind, while retaining the look and feel of the SOLO.

Barrel Length: "SOLO" 44mm → "SOLO-2" 46mm

The biggest feature of the SOLO-2 is that it is designed to be used with the front and back of the barrel interchangeable.
The micro-groove and matte grip finishes are used for the first time ever, and the fine compound delta cut in the center of the barrel allows the user to switch the barrel from front to back.
You can choose the grip area within one set according to the condition of your fingers.

インタビュー新作バレルの発売決定おめでとうございます。ソロ ジェネレーション2はどんなバレルに仕上がりましたか？
小野恵太以前から、バレルはどんどんストレートバレルに近づけていきたい、という考えがありました。前作のソロが、そのためのファーストステップです。そして、セカンドステップである今作は、前後を入れ替えて使うことを想定したデザインの採用や、スペックの変更など、チャレンジングなモデルになったと思います。
インタビュー最大の特徴といえば、リバーシブルな点ですね。それぞれのグリップゾーンにおける、使い分けのしかたを教えてください。
小野恵太僕の場合、シリカコーティングは手のコンディションが良く、サラサラしている状態のときに使い、マットグリップは手のコンディションが悪く、ベタベタしている時に使います。まず、シリカコーティングについてですが、マイクロデルタカットにコーティングが施されていますので、しっかりとしたグリップ感を得られます。そのため、手が乾燥しているときでも、リリースの成功率を高めてくれます。
インタビューなるほど。では、マットグリップはいかがでしょうか。
小野恵太汗が多く出る夏場のシーズンや、プレッシャーが特にかかる試合で使います。手汗を多くかく状態の時は、指がベタベタになってしまい、ダーツを離しにくくなります。なので、マットグリップの様なサラサラとした質感のコーティングは、ベタついた指でもしっかりとリリースをすることができます。

しかし、マットグリップのみではグリップ感が物足りなかったので、マイクログルーヴカットを施し、サラサラ+ザラザラを感じられるようにしました。また、テーパーをかけることで、押し出やすさを補っています。
インタビュー前作に対して、全長・最大径・重量とスペックが大幅に変更されました。
小野恵太僕は元々スティールバレルで、最大径6.4mmのものを使っていたので、そんなに細くなったというイメージはありません。ソフトダーツでは、真っ直ぐ飛ばしたいので、最大径は6.6mmが限界だな、と思っています。

また、プログリップシャフトのインターミディエイト プラスを使用するようになったので、バレルもそれに合わせて伸ばしました。重量については、重たいものを試してみたいといった思いから、18.0gをチョイスしました。
インタビューパッケージには「押忍！」みたいなポーズや、険しい表情があり、写真が印象的ですね。
小野恵太写真は全て、UKのデザイナーの指示です。いろんなポーズで、たくさん撮ってもらいました。内側の写真も、カメラマンから「眉間にもっとシワを寄せて！もっと！」とすごく言われました(笑)
インタビューターゲットの中国工場に行ってみて、いかがでしたか？
小野恵太自分のバレルが「こんなに大変な工程を経て出来上がっているんだ！」ということに衝撃を受けました。ピクセルインピクセルや、ミリングライン、マットグリップ加工など、当たり前のことなんですが、それぞれ別の作業なんですよね。

また、バレルを切削するマシンに数値を入力をする人、品質チェックをする人、梱包をする人など、こんなにもたくさんの方々が関わってくれているということも、再認識しました。中国工場に行ったことで、製作サイドからバレルを捉えることが出来たので、とても貴重な経験となりました。
インタビュー今年度からJAPANに移籍されました。その理由を教えて頂けますか？
小野恵太結論から言うと、SUPER DARTSに再度出るためです。僕は、2017年に優勝をしてから、その魅力に取り憑かれてしまったんですよ。もう一度あの舞台に上がりたい、戦いたい、と。プロとしてのキャリアも長くなってきましたが、ここで一度、新しいスタートラインに立ち、「自分がどれだけやれるのか」を試してみたくて、JAPANへの移籍を決めました。
インタビュー2回目のQスクールに参加されてみて、いかがでしたか？
小野恵太自分としては、去年より良くなってるという感じた上での参戦だったので、とても楽しみにしていました。ダーツも良い状態で飛んではいたのですが、結果として0ポイントで終わってしまいました。フィニッシュをうまく決められなかったり、相手が強くて全然勝負にならなかったり。年々Qスクールのレベルが上がっているのですが、そんな中でも、瞬間的に“世界と戦えている”という場面がいくつもあったんですね。どちらかというと、メンタルの駆け引きで負けた印象です。そういう収穫があったので、悔しさは残るのですが、むしろ来年がより楽しみになりましたね。
インタビュー最後になりますが、今年の抱負を教えてください！
小野恵太今年はJAPANに移籍して、どれだけ自分の実力を出せるかが、ひとつのキーポイントだと思っています。2シーズン制というのも、僕にとって初めての経験なので、前半と後半の戦い方を模索していきたいですね。それ以外にも、THE WORLDやPDC Asian Tourと、たくさん試合に出るので、優勝目指してがんばります！

I purchased this barrel on the day it was released and threw it immediately.
The barrel is very easy to throw. I have used the previous model before, and this new model is also very good barrel. It is straight, but not that thin, so even those who only throw Torpedo will be able to easily get used to it.
The front and rear settings can be swapped, but I could not tell the difference. I have only thrown it for one day, so I would like to change it depending on the conditions.

As a lover of straight barrels, I felt this barrel was a bit of a waste.
The black matte part of the R is a bit of a distraction....
I really don't need it in the front or in the back, and I personally think it's not good for me, combined with the thickness of the barrel.
I personally felt that if the barrel is not at least 0.4mm thinner, it would be easy to lose throws due to unnecessary force.

It was a delicate barrel for me. I decided to purchase this barrel after test throwing it at a darts store. I was curious about this barrel, so I bought it right away, but I threw it for about 2 weeks. I was not so sure about the black coating.
I mainly use the matte-grip coated barrels.
The other day at a big darts tournament, I was throwing with the matte grip one, but the microgroove was still there, but the coating peeled off quickly, so I switched to the silica coated one halfway through the tournament. Then the results were surprisingly good!
I would like to use the matte grip finish in the summer and the silica coated one in the winter.
I would like to buy several of these for ornamental purposes and such because they look so good.

I bought it a year ago and have been using it ever since.
Thanks to the micro delta cut, it catches well on my fingers and I can grip it.
I think it is also good that it is hard to lose track of the grip position.

It is lighter and shorter than the Maestro and Gomez, which have the same straight barrel.
It is suitable for those who want a straight barrel but prefer a lighter or shorter barrel.
I personally like it so much that I am not sure if I will buy a second one.

This is the barrel I am interested in, but the center of gravity is not in the middle of the barrel, so I am concerned that if I replace it, the center of gravity will be shifted.
I think the visual aspect is 100 points.
