Product information

GEAR has only been available in clear so far, but finally white and D-black are newly available! The ceramic-like appearance of the GEAR is a different beauty from the clear version.

Fit Shaft GEAR Hybrid

The hybrid type is a balance between the slim type and the normal type.
It is ideal for players who want the rear side of the barrel to be heavier than the slim type but lighter than the normal type.
Also, the shaft itself is flexible to reduce damage to the flight.

I purchased Fit's Gear Shaft Hybrid Spin.
I used to use the spin type with a regular shaft (the one with the cross-shaped split at the end).
I used to use the spin type with a normal shaft (with a split cross at the end), but sometimes it was difficult to see the flight when it came off in a slightly dark darts bar or the like.
With the Fit, however, it is so easy that I can put the flight on even with my eyes closed (no exaggeration). (No exaggeration).
Also, the flights don't stick as much as the spin type, so you can concentrate on your throws without any stress.
There are 3 types of shaft shapes and 8 different lengths, so you can choose the one that best suits your preference.
I like the hybrid type, which has a good design connection from the barrel and flows nicely into the flight.
I have about 3 different lengths and change them according to the barrel I use so that the overall length of the darts is roughly the same.
I had avoided them for a while because they require a set of special flights and are a bit expensive, but once I used them, I could never go back to the regular type.
The only drawback is that there are a variety of flight shapes, but not many with designs (pictures).
Nevertheless, if you have never used one, I highly recommend you give it a try.

You have the wrong photo, this one. It's probably about a #7.
I thought it was hard to compare one shaft with another just by looking at one shaft, so I'm making a template of my own idea.
It is a shaft exclusively for FIT flights, and while it is a simple shape that is attached by inserting a dedicated flight, the locking type holds the flight in place, while the spin type rotates the flight to reduce bouncing due to darts interfering with each other.
I preferred the clear coloring with lame dyeing, but I decided to use the GEAR series because the running cost of a relatively expensive FIT is too high to have many broken darts. Although there were times when they were bounced off the dartboard, I would break only one dart per month if I was unlucky, so I keep using them.
There are three types of shaft shapes, but I didn't feel the weight change that much, so I think you should choose Slim for its clean look and good hooking when you grip the shaft lightly, Hybrid if you grip the shaft lightly and dislike hooking and want lightness, and Normal if you want to emphasize strength. If you want to focus on strength, I think you should choose the normal type.
The spin type shaft rattles slightly when the flight is attached, so those who do not need it to rotate should choose the lock type.
The lengths are (1) 13mm, (2) 18mm, (3) 24mm, (4) 28.5mm, (5) 31mm, (6) 35mm, (7) 38.5mm, and (8) 42.5mm, so you can choose according to your preference.
