I already had three barrels, but all of them were straight type, so I bought a torpedo type barrel.
When I tried it at a certain store, I felt that I could feel the weight of the barrel easily and it was easy to throw.

The place to hold it is almost always at the center of gravity and about 7-8mm thick. That area is around the boundary between the shark cut and ring cut, a modest resistance. Compared to the resistance of the famous sword Muramasa, which I purchased later, it feels much less. However, since it is sloped toward the center of gravity, it feels rather scratchy.
The length of 40mm may be the length of the middle class, but the part that can be held is limited and feels short, so it is not stable for me personally.
The slant of the barrel makes the arrow fly off in an unexpected direction, or if the thumb and forefinger are pinched at an angle, the arrow may fly off in an uneven direction, so I personally felt that a straight barrel would be easier to handle.

It depends on the person whether the weight of 17g is a good thing or not.
If you are familiar with other torpedo types, you will have no problem throwing this as it is a standard spec.
