I was very happy with the way it felt smooth and comfortable in my hand the moment I took it out of the box.
The grip was very good, as if it sucked despite the lack of cut when I was throwing it.

I used it for 3 months and now the sandblasted part is smooth and easy to slip off. And the scratches made during the grouping process are chipping away at the finish itself. For those who love the best feeling of a freshly opened bottle, it's hard to believe that it could deteriorate so quickly.... I think. The black coating is cool and wonderful, but I don't think this model is suitable for daily use. It is a little disappointing to see it deteriorate so much because it was so well conceived and comfortable to the touch.

It was just the right thickness for my large hands. It is not too heavy, so it is easy to control and adjust.
The smoothness of the hair makes it easy to pull off, and because there is no cut, it doesn't hang strangely and go the other way.
As you said, the black color does peel off. It started peeling right after I bought it.
But even with that, I think the barrel is worth buying.
I thought it was easy to throw when I was just starting out, so I think it is the right barrel for many people.

I preferred darts with a strong cut, but it fit so well that my preference changed. The grip is thick and uncut. The darts are sandblasted, so when you hold them, they feel soft and comfortable in your hand. It is hard to believe that it is a dart without a cut. It feels strange at first, but once you get used to it, it flies very smoothly.
The length is also just right.
The drawback is that it looks cool, but the scratches stand out... The gluing scratches are quite noticeable... I guess it can't be helped because it is black...

The original Rising Sun featured a micro-dot area, but the synergy of the thicker grip and further sandblasting process compared to the original seems to make the throw more secure. It is based on a no-groove barrel with almost no knurling, so it seems to be durable (although I wonder what will happen to the machined areas in the future...). I also very much like the black color with silver accents. It will be a true "dark side" if all the darts parts other than the accessories are used in black as well (lol). I think it would be even better if there were 21.5g 2BA & 19g No.5, but I guess that's just HAL's way of thinking about barrels.

My first impression when I held it was "Fat! My first impression when I held it was "Fat!
Perhaps it is because it has not been engraved, but it is extremely large.
The gripping area is so thick that it is hard to find a dart with such a large gripping area.

The grip end is sandblasted.
The sandblasted finish on the grip end is very smooth and does not stick to the ground surface of the fingers, which may help the release of the arrow.
It helps the release of the arrow.
It also moderately reduces the thickness of the gripping area.

The internal structure is the same as the previous model, only the de-center remains thin.
The internal structure is almost like a hollowed-out shape, with the de-center remaining thinly as in the previous model.
The balance is good because there is no strange bias, but the shape of the grip section has changed significantly.
The shape of the grip section has changed greatly, and the point where it eats power has changed.
The barrel has a very different taste from the previous model in terms of flight.
The presence in the hand has become much larger.
But the total impression is that it is surprisingly basic and honorable.
If you look at the shape carefully, it is quite orthodox.

Also, the sandblasted part of the surface is not so rough as to fill in the minute irregularities.
The sandblasted area is coated with a very thin coating, perhaps to avoid filling in the minute irregularities.
The coating is quite thin.
The sandblasted area is very thinly coated, so it is scraped off.
This is quite sad.
