I wanted to try hard tarts, so I looked for a straight barrel that wasn't too heavy... and chose this one.
I tried the 22.7g barrel many times, but it did not fit well.

When I first bought it, I could not get used to the 55mm barrel length and often felt that the darts stuck in the barrel were in the way.
After throwing it for a few weeks, I felt the barrels were coming together and I was able to take advantage of the fact that I could ride and hit the darts that were stuck in the barrels.

The cut seems to be quite strong when gripping. So I think that even those who use Torpedo barrels can pull out the release without much discomfort. It almost never falls out.
I am now using the second set because I am so hooked on them, but the one I bought earlier still has enough cut left, and I plan to use them differently depending on the condition of my fingers.

I don't recommend them for beginners as I think they are too challenging, but for B flight and above, even if you don't use them as main barrels.
I think it is a great way to strengthen the release.

I have been using the old Gomez type9 since I started playing darts.
I bought it based on the naive idea that if the length and cut were the same and the weight was different, I would be able to throw it a little easier.

After throwing the old Gomes for an extended period of time, I found myself frequently under-throwing due to a loss of concentration and fatigue.
In addition, the darts are also violent when I start to throw, so the new Gomez seems to fit just right for those "times when throwing is a bit difficult".

Beginning of the throw.
The grip feeling is the same as the original old Gomez, so naturally there is no discomfort.
The completion of the uplift is now much quicker.
Interim.
Switched to the old Gomez and concentrated on the game.
Of course, it is not legal to switch to the new one and immediately play a game, so I made some minor adjustments.
Second half.
After throwing for about three hours, I start to lose concentration and get tired.
I want to throw a little more, but the darts keep going down, so I switch again around this time.
I can finish the game just right.

I know this is an abstract expression, but in my opinion, there is no harm in having both the old and the new Gomez.
Of course, it is limited to those who like straight barrels.
