Personally, I think it is much easier to throw than the previous 9.
It may take some getting used to for those who use shorter barrels, but for those who want to try using a long straight barrel, this may be a good choice. I think it would be better for those who want to try a long straight barrel.
There is also a 20g weight version available, so if you prefer a lighter weight, you may want to check that out as well.

I switched from Solo gen3.
Both are straight, but I was worried about switching from 17.5g to 22g, but I didn't feel it was too heavy when I threw it.
The reason for this is that the fine cut structure makes the Solo gen3 easier to handle and fly.
As a point of concern, because of the fine cut, even my own poor stacking can cause a lot of shaving.
If the cut is difficult to apply, it may be harder to fly and you may feel the weight more.
Overall, the cut is uniform, so I would recommend it to those who want to experiment with different ways of throwing.

First of all, I was attracted by the cool design.
I had always wanted to be able to fly a straight barrel cleanly, so I bought it.

My impression of the throw
The entire barrel is cut to prevent hesitation when gripping. 22g is a heavy barrel, but I don't feel the weight at all. The cut is tight, but the barrel is very comfortable to hold and does not fall off easily.
The barrel is heavy, so you should be prepared for a lot of wear and tear on the tip.
I am still in the adjustment stage, but I personally feel that I have made a good purchase. I think the rest depends on your personal effort.

It is not easily affected by the condition of my hand, and even with a light grip, it has just the right amount of power for me, and it flies beautifully with a good power transmission.
I use the Winmau Carbon Fiber Conversion Point to throw hard, but I don't think it would be a problem for someone who usually throws hard.
I'm on day 4 now, 3 hours a day, and there is a little bit of cut from stacking, but it's forward so it doesn't bother me too much.
Some people may be mistaken, but the higher the ratio of tungsten, the more likely it is to crack and hang up.
And the Gomez 10 has a thin cut, so you may feel it even more so.
I like it so much that I will buy Gomez 10 again even if the cut is ruined.

For a barrel made of 95% tungsten, the deterioration is very severe.
Also, the weight combined with the cut is very heavy!

I use it with the barrel inverted because it has an incredibly forward center of gravity, but it's still too heavy and I feel like I'm going to lose my senses.
If I throw it with the front center of gravity, it will be too peaky for me, so I'll cut off the parts I don't need and use it in the reverse position.

I replaced my Gomez 9.
The design is really good old-fashioned and straight, which is what people who like it would love.
The length and the maximum length are not much different from those of the Nine, but the cut is totally different.

My impression after throwing it
If you like to throw straight, you can throw this barrel for hours.
I think it is also good for practicing throwing with less force.
However, one thing to note is that the cut is very sharp.
So, if you don't mind the length of the tip, you may want to use a longer tip to reduce interference.
I know it's a comforting thought.
It's only been two days since I bought it, but at least I'm very satisfied with it.

There is one thing to note.
The white-red-white line side is usually the tip side, but it is only 6mm deep. So, if you are using current mainstream tips such as Rippoint, etc., there is no problem, but be careful with some Monster conversion tips (the one I have has a 6.5mm threaded part), because you can't turn it all the way to the back.
I guess I really wanted to bring the center of gravity to the front until the very last minute (laughs).
(The measurements are approximate values using calipers.

Bought it the day it went on sale.
I use Gary as my main barrel.
I have made it a little heavier and a little stronger.
I feel like I made it much heavier.
I hope to sell 20g as well as 9g.
