Perhaps due to the trapezoidal ring cut, it fits well in the hand from the initial throwing stage, and is pulled out without discomfort.
The clear gripping area eliminates any variation in the grip on the second and third throws!
Also, the thickness of the barrel does not bother me and the flight is quite stable.
