Product information

Flight-L Dimple

The first Flight-L flight designed with aerodynamic drag in mind.
The surface shape of the dimple creates a turbulent flow of air, which is surrounded by a layer of turbulence, resulting in less air resistance.
Champagne ring compatible.

Designed by Tsuneki Zanami, a professional with high analytical skills and a thorough commitment to his tools.
The new material makes it more durable than the previous Flight-L.
Dimple processing that takes into account air resistance to achieve a stretchy flight.
New Flight shape was developed for Dimple.

Champagne ring is not included.

The dimple shape makes it fly really well and stable!
Golf ball also has dimple shape so it flies really well and stable with light swing
1Lift Force
When the rotation is strong, this lift force has a great influence on the flying distance.
A ball hit with a club flies while rotating.
The upward rotation (backspin) causes the air above the ball to flow faster than the air below, creating an air pressure difference that exerts an upward force (lift) on the ball.
If the ball has bumps, the air is more easily affected and the difference in air velocity between the top and bottom of the ball increases, powering up the lift force.
The ball will not fall easily and will fly far.

The second is air resistance.
When the rotation of the ball is weak, this aerodynamic drag has a great deal to do with it.
Air flowing along the surface of the ball will eventually peel off from the ball, creating an area of air behind the ball that is pulled by the ball. This creates an area of air behind the ball that is pulled back by the ball, which causes the ball to move backward (aerodynamic drag) and reduces the distance of the ball.
However, if the ball is bumpy, the air flow does not easily leave the surface of the ball, so the area of air that is pulled by the ball becomes smaller. This reduces the air resistance and increases the flying distance.

From the throw line to the board
The distance is very short, but the dimples have this meaning

I can't say that the flight is sharper with this one, but I do feel that it's a little longer (laughs).
But what I like the most is the durability!
I've used fits and regular ones, and they haven't broken down at all!
Normally, they don't last more than a month, but it's been two months since I switched to these, and I've only lost one piece.
I have been using this for 2 months now and I have only lost one piece.
