This barrel is a derivative of the John Lowe from UNICORN. When Phil Taylor was having trouble with straight barrels, he started using the John Lowe from HEROGOLDN, which was a sign of success, and he started using the Phase 5.
He then went on to make two 9DARTS in the 2010 Premier League finals, also with a Phase 5 ROSSO, which would go down in the annals of history.
After that, he moved to TARGET and this barrel was born as his fourth one.
It is really easy to throw and flies like a bullet since it weighs 20g.
The Lshaft carbon shaft is more similar in color to the shaft that comes with the barrel, so it looks like one piece in the dark.

As an entry-level model, because I'm a Gen Xer! I recommend this model to those who are
If you have been using the latest barrels and want to get better! I would like you to think about it a little bit.
The end of the barrel is not cut even though it is blasted. The latest barrels have a cut on the grip area, a cut on the end, and a cut on the place where you hold the barrel. Even if the barrel is blasted, the presence or absence of the cut will still be an issue.
Also, the barrel is short, so if you have a lot of fingers to grip, it will be hard to handle.
So, I would wait for the front! I would recommend this barrel to those who have a 3 finger barrel and like the cut to be tight. Also, first time barrel buyers.
And for first time barrel buyers, I don't need to tell you that this is Phil's barrel.
It looks just like the barrels from the unicorn era, so you can feel nostalgia, but it also has the matte feeling of the blast finish and the coating ...... is still very unicorn-like. The weight error range is stable TARGET, so the sensitive ones will be satisfied!
Honestly, if in doubt, don't buy it!
I think the gen3 is more suitable for everyone, but if in doubt, don't buy this one, try it out and then think about it!

The sandblasted finish gives it a moist feel.
I throw it by pushing it out from the back logo area, and it seems to have a good pull.
The barrel is heavy, so you can feel the feel of the barrel hitting the target.
I have the impression that it comes off nicely even if I throw it at the silver part in the middle.

I honestly bought the packet.
It's what you call an impulse buy! LOL!
I used to use Monster's OGRE IV 2BA.
I replaced it with GEN4 after one month.
The OGRE is straight and easy to throw.
But after a period of time, my grip and form changed and I could not stabilize it.
I had a problem with my awareness, but it was not a problem.
I have a problem with my awareness, but....
I was looking for a heavy barrel with a torpedo shape as a motive to buy a new one.
I was looking for a heavy barrel with a torpedo shape, and I happened to buy it at a store I usually go to.
I bought it at a store I usually go to without even trying it out.
But with this one, I was able to get it right where I wanted it.
It is really a straight shot when you lightly push your arm into the barrel by using the weight of the barrel itself.
The center of gravity is also in the middle of the barrel, and the cut of the grip area is very delicate, so I really like the finger release.
I am very happy to have found this barrel.
Thanks to this barrel, I've been getting really good results lately, and my rating is going up, and I really think it's thanks to this barrel!
If you are the type of person who likes Phil and wants to fly straight to where you are aiming, I really recommend this one!
Lastly, Target has been great lately!

I am currently using a different manufacturer, but I was using G2 for a while, so I was curious and bought it.
The part of the cut in the middle of the sales pitch is easy to hold and the finger release is good for a tight cut, so it is easy to throw. The pixel cut at the tip is easy to hold. I think it would be quite easy to throw if you put your middle or ring finger on the tip of the pixel-cut part.
The sandblasted part is easily scraped off and becomes slippery when darts rub against each other in groupings, etc. The peak of the feel is the moment you take it out of the box, so if you hold it backwards and push it out, it may become slippery and stressful as you use it. If you don't change the way you hold it so that your thumb and forefinger touch the silver part and don't touch the back, I think it will be difficult to use.
The product is very good, and I highly recommend it to those who are changing from the thin and light darts of the entry-level models to heavier darts. The cut is clear, so if you find it easy to grip, it will fit in your fingers and make it easier to fly.

For players who are thinking of wearing black, we do not recommend this because it is black. The grouping process will scrape off the surface finish, so it is more susceptible to scratches than you think and the paint will easily go bald. If you are able to test throw the darts at a store, we recommend you to check how the darts deteriorate after use before you buy them.

I've only mentioned the negative points, but if you get into the shape, you can experience Phil's darts, which are very easy to throw, fly comfortably, and hit with a thud. It is a great barrel that flies well for its weight and keeps you focused on your fingertips until the moment the dart leaves your hand.
