Product information

TRiNiDAD PRO Gomez Type10 -Gomez Type10

The straight barrel evolution of the Gomez Type 9.
The Gomez Type 10 is a classic style barrel that has been designed with the hardest darts in mind.

Yuki Yamada's 10th model is a classic straight barrel with a triple ring cut.
The length, weight, and cut have all been changed from the Gomez type9.

The weight is 22g which is 0.7g less than the previous model for better control.
The length has been shortened by 2mm to allow the middle finger to rest naturally on the front 3 lines of the grip.

And the cut.
It has a triple ring cut, but it is not just a triple ring cut.
The width of the three ring cuts are all different, and the thin ring cut is placed in the center.
In order to prevent the cut from becoming stiff, the front and back are sandwiched by a wide ring cut, resulting in a perfect grip and good release.
Yuki Yamada has placed this triple ring cut all over the body for a sensible grip.

Yuki Yamada fights with both soft and hard darts.
The 2BA barrel has a shallow front threading, while the Steel barrel is made with 80% tungsten to increase mass and a shallow rear threading.
The Steel barrel has 80% tungsten to increase the mass and the back threading is made as shallow as possible to bring the balance between the 2BA and Steel to the limit.

This is the second straight barrel Gomez has produced.
You can feel the evolution of the Gomez.

There is one thing to note.
The white-red-white line side is usually the tip side, but it is only 6mm deep. So, if you are using current mainstream tips such as Rippoint, etc., there is no problem, but be careful with some Monster conversion tips (the one I have has a 6.5mm threaded part), because you can't turn it all the way to the back.
I guess I really wanted to bring the center of gravity to the front until the very last minute (laughs).
(The measurements are approximate values using calipers.

I replaced my Gomez 9.
The design is really good old-fashioned and straight, which is what people who like it would love.
The length and the maximum length are not much different from those of the Nine, but the cut is totally different.

My impression after throwing it
If you like to throw straight, you can throw this barrel for hours.
I think it is also good for practicing throwing with less force.
However, one thing to note is that the cut is very sharp.
So, if you don't mind the length of the tip, you may want to use a longer tip to reduce interference.
I know it's a comforting thought.
It's only been two days since I bought it, but at least I'm very satisfied with it.

For a barrel made of 95% tungsten, the deterioration is very severe.
Also, the weight combined with the cut is very heavy!

I use it with the barrel inverted because it has an incredibly forward center of gravity, but it's still too heavy and I feel like I'm going to lose my senses.
If I throw it with the front center of gravity, it will be too peaky for me, so I'll cut off the parts I don't need and use it in the reverse position.

It is not easily affected by the condition of my hand, and even with a light grip, it has just the right amount of power for me, and it flies beautifully with a good power transmission.
I use the Winmau Carbon Fiber Conversion Point to throw hard, but I don't think it would be a problem for someone who usually throws hard.
I'm on day 4 now, 3 hours a day, and there is a little bit of cut from stacking, but it's forward so it doesn't bother me too much.
Some people may be mistaken, but the higher the ratio of tungsten, the more likely it is to crack and hang up.
And the Gomez 10 has a thin cut, so you may feel it even more so.
I like it so much that I will buy Gomez 10 again even if the cut is ruined.

Bought it the day it went on sale.
I use Gary as my main barrel.
I have made it a little heavier and a little stronger.
I feel like I made it much heavier.
I hope to sell 20g as well as 9g.
