Toru Suzuki has built a long and distinguished career as a top player. In recent years, while dealing with injuries, he has remained deeply committed to his darts, pursuing a new, ideal feel.

The SERENO GEN3 was born as the answer to that quest.

“SERENO” means “calm” or “tranquility” in Spanish. This series blends the identity of Toru Suzuki—who has Peruvian roots—with the unwavering strength of the majestic Andes
Mountains.

Featuring the series’ first bold outline redesign, a new scallop shape, and the first Toru Suzuki model to adopt a no-groove design, this third generation embodies new challenges while building on the legacy of previous SERENO models.

A newly designed scallop—the series’ greatest evolution
The SERENO GEN3 significantly revamps the outline while staying true to the series’ core concept. The rear grip features a deeply sculpted scalloped shape.

This design naturally guides your fingers to the grip position, making it easier to reproduce the same position every time and supporting a stable throw. Furthermore, it efficiently transfers the power generated by the swing forward, achieving a powerful, long-distance flight. It balances a secure hold with a smooth release, providing rear-grip players with a high degree of consistency.

First-Ever Groove-Less Rear Grip
The SERENO GEN3 is the first model in the Tetsu Suzuki series to feature a groove-less design on the rear grip.

Although this is a bold design change, the scalloped shape provides a secure hold, allowing for a natural grip without having to wrap your fingers around the grip more than necessary. Upon release, your fingers slide out smoothly, supporting stable flight and high control. This evolution stems from years of accumulated experience and a willingness to take on new challenges.

A New Outline Born from the Pursuit of the Ideal
What we sought in this outline was a “spherical” feel—a design that allows you to throw as if “pinching a ball.”
While pursuing the ideal feel he envisioned, we fused it with the ease of handling and stability unique to SERENO. Although this represents a bold departure from previous series, it faithfully inherits the natural maneuverability characteristic of Tetsu Suzuki’s style.

Beautiful Details Reflecting the Andes Mountains
The center section features delicate milling based on a snowflake motif reminiscent of the snow-capped landscapes of the Andes Mountains. This serves not only as a beautiful decoration but also provides pleasant feedback to the fingertips, enhancing the sense of presence when gripping the ball.

A deep ring cut is positioned on the front, providing ample grip even for players whose fingers rest toward the front of the barrel. This detail achieves a high level of integration between functionality and design.

SERENO Blue, Evoking the Andes
The barrel features the signature blue coating of the SERENO series. This blue, which expresses the crisp air of the Andes and the beauty of snow-capped mountains, is also the identity that has been passed down throughout the series.

Its refreshing yet elegant presence enhances the quiet yet powerful world of SERENO.

“What I particularly like about this model is the groove-less grip section. It also features a taper, so it fits comfortably in my hand—personally, I find it very pleasant to hold.

When I actually throw it, I think it’s perfectly balanced—neither too heavy nor too light. I also like how it releases smoothly from the grip, making for a natural throw.

I think this model is a good fit for players who prefer a rear grip and like to hold the dart as if it were a ball.
