This barrel was given as a gift to a friend.

My impression after using it, it's surprisingly easy to use!
You can throw it by using the rear kubomi or by using the cut part.
I had the impression that it is surprisingly compatible with various grips.
The flight was close to that of a straight barrel, with a stretchy flight.

John himself seems to grip the front of the barrel.

Rip, Raro short shaft, rocket or shape flight used.

I have tried throwing it and the cut and the nub at the rear of the rod rests firmly on my finger and allows me to throw it powerfully.
Be careful, it can be too hooked.
