Very good!
I use the same barrel for the soft and feel comfortable with it.
The soft is 2BA, so the shaft is a type that can accommodate an Eva or Joker weighted ball, and the balance is a little backward.
The grip is 2 fingers, so you can throw without hesitation if you hold the knob firmly.
The shape of the barrel also gives it a high grouping performance and makes you feel like you can go for it.

It is longer and the grip is thicker than the soft.
Therefore, it cannot be exactly the same as the soft.
Of course, the weight is different.
However, it is easier to grip due to the increased thickness.
This one may be more stable.
The cut at the neck makes it hard to slip off, and because of the bumps, it is easier to hold.
The cut wear and tear is very well controlled.

The rapier can have a stable grip even without the cut, but the fine cut makes it even more stable and secure, which is pretty nice!

I bought this barrel because I loved the previous model rapier, but it had too much microgroove and I personally preferred the previous rapier which had no microgroove.

Being able to grip the same spot is a real advantage. If you grip the same place and make the same throw, it should go to the same place.
