It is nylon, but not particularly fragile.
The use of rings is a good idea as it eliminates the tendency for flights to come off.
The color selection is great, and the cost performance is excellent.

A short version of a nylon shaft, which is the most normal.
The shaft part is shiny.
The part that holds the flight has a rough matte finish
The shaft ring is soft and the part that holds the flight ring is easy to fold.
