I would recommend it to anyone who plays hard darts.
It is not uncommon for the flight attachment part of the shaft to break off due to grouping. Even carbon shafts break easily.
In such cases, this flight lock system is useful. The flight lock is smooth from the root to the tip, so grouping bounce-outs are minimized.
As a little trick, you can fit the shell lock ring and insert the L-ring into the gap to make it fit nicely.

This is a flight punch for shaft caps, so it is essential for those who use shaft caps.

I use paper flights and bought this to prevent kettlebores.
First of all, the price is cheap. If you want to drill holes in paper flights, you can use Shell Lock or With Lock, but this is cheaper than Shell Lock. I appreciate this.
Also, I didn't check the black caps, but they come with the paper flights. I bought one set separately.
Finally, the holes are too big compared to the caps. With this hole size, the flight may be stuck but only the cap may come off, and furthermore, it may fall off and be lost when the flight comes off. The hole in the shell lock is smaller and fits perfectly with this cap.

I think this is a good product for steel darts to prevent Robinhood (a phenomenon where the point gets stuck in the flight insert of the shaft). However, the holes are larger than the special caps, and the flights (75 micron) tend to bend (flop over) from where the holes are drilled, so stacking does not work well and grouping escapes on several occasions.
