First and foremost, it's easy to grip!
Thanks to the octagonal cut, the grip point is captured in a plane, and I no longer have to worry about the arrow tip going down. The barrel itself has a packed feel, so even if there is a slight discrepancy in the grip point, it does not bother me.

And it's weight is fantastic!
With so much weight, it is easy to feel the weight and throw without effort.
I imagine the barrel does the work for me when I throw. The weight of the barrel makes the ball fly from a certain release point and grouping is possible.

This is a barrel that you should just throw and throw.

I had pre-ordered it and it arrived so I threw it right away.
I think the feel is the same as the Gomez 7.
Also, the grip part is octagon cut, so you don't have to worry about the grip anymore.
I would definitely recommend this barrel to those who like heavy barrels and are not sure about their grip.

Got the barrel in the mail today, and I've been throwing it around!
The weight of the barrel is the same as the Gomez 7, and of course it flies great, but with the newly adopted octagon cut, I no longer have any doubts about my grip! I was especially shocked at how well the barrel released after I threw it, in my personal opinion! I had purchased the Gomez 7 before and was completely hooked by the 21.5g weight of the barrel, so this is the best barrel for me!
This barrel is not only for advanced players, but also for those who feel uncomfortable with darts in their hands.
I'm going for A flight with this barrel!

It says the weight is 21.5g, but when you hold it
I think you can throw it without worrying about the weight!
Also, the cut has an octagonal cut.
The octagonal cut also makes it possible to have the same grip every time!

Anyway, I think this barrel is easy to throw and has no habit.

I have been using the Gomez series since the Gomez 7, and I was even more shocked to find such a good barrel in the 7.
As for the 7, the cut was worn off with use and the finger grip was reduced early on, but the 8 seems to maintain the grip for a long time thanks to the octagonal cut.
In addition to the weight of 21.5g, which is the same weight as the 7, the octagon cut does a good job. The cut is also exquisitely balanced, but I think the octagon cut and the weight are the features of Gomez 8.

The weight is much heavier at 21.5g, so if you throw it according to the weight, it will fly easily.
I throw the flight with the shape, but the slim type might put a lot of strain on my arm.
Thanks to the polygonal grip, my fingers don't get cluttered and I can hold it straight.
However, if you have been throwing with light darts, you may get tired after throwing for a long time.
It is great for beginners. It is also good for those who are not sure about their grip.
Overall, the knurling allows you to push it out properly, even if you are holding it in the front or your finger rests on the shaft.

When I first touched the Okudagon Cut, I was amazed!
I was surprised that when I put it in position, my hand did not play with it and I was able to get a firm grip.
I was also surprised at the flight. Thanks to the weight of the Okudagon Cut, I was able to get a stable jump. The Okudagon cut is better than the previous Gomez, and the cut seems to be less worn out.
I will be using it for a long time to come!

Thanks to both Octagon and Ring's cuts, I now have a left turn, and my bull rate has gone up!

To be honest, my grip has changed since I went with the Gomez 8. In short, I have adapted to the barrel.

I just think this was a good decision!

The reason I matched it to the barrel is that by gripping with my thumb laid down, the ground contact surface of my thumb is larger and I feel more comfortable using my thumb.

Also, the maximum diameter of 7.6 mm is reassuringly thick, so it is easy to grip.

Also, (laughs)
Thanks to the 21.5g weight, I don't have to exert more effort on my follow-up than before. When I exert myself, the darts don't fly.

As a result, my rating has increased thanks to the Gomez 8.
I can really recommend this barrel!

As other reviewers have written about this barrel.

If you put a lot of effort in the follow-up, it really doesn't fly.
If you put too much pressure on it without knowing it, you will get pain from your arm to your shoulder (I have already experienced this).

Basically, just enough pressure to touch the octagon cut with your thumb is fine.
Then, hold out your arm more slowly than usual.
Then, release the dart with a firm awareness of the line.
The dart will fly away naturally.

Also, with the forward cut and the 21.5g weight, the dart almost never gets bounced.

As Yanmar said, I recommend it to those who are hitting their heads!

I threw a little Gomez 8, cheated and threw a little Lopez 4, but what I ended up with was Gomez 8.

The octagon cut makes the thumb position snappy.

The Lopez 4 was also easy to position my thumb, but with my grip, the back end of the Lopez 4 was too narrow for my thumb to settle slightly.

I also noticed a difference in thickness when gripping the back of the barrel.

The Gomez 8 felt just the right thickness when I held it between my thumb and index finger, combined with the octagon cut surface, but the Lopez 4 seemed a little thin.

Although it is all my personal impression, I would recommend the Gomez 8 for "thickness, weight, and cut".
