The barrel itself is easy to throw.
You can see this in the other Sabre reviews.

The only reason I lost one star is that when changing the tip, the core shaft turns and almost comes apart.
The tip broke off during a match and when I was removing the tip to change it, the core shaft almost came off as well.
I changed the tip several times after that, but the core shaft came with me every time....
This is unexpectedly stressful.
Maybe it's because it's Accute and not NO.5?
Overall, I am satisfied with the product, but that one point is disappointing.

Saber launched in 2006 and remodeled in 2011

Disappointed that the cut was changed...

I'd love to know who wanted the model changed!

I knew Masumi's Saber was the old cut, but I always wondered when it would come out and always wanted it back.

And finally it's back with Masumi SP!

This old cut of Saber is still the best!

It is very easy to handle with the minimum necessary cut and does not slip or get stuck.

However, it is too light, so I use Maverick for the core shaft.

I have been using barrels with a single barrel weight of 18g or more, and this barrel feels too light for me. As other reviewers have said, it may be a good idea to change the core shaft, although the price is a bit expensive.

List of core shaft weights
Hawk (core shaft 8.3g)
Saber (core shaft 8.7g)
Maverick (core shaft 8.3g)
Sho Katsumi SP(Core shaft 3.9g)
Masumi Chino SP(Core shaft 4.6g)

However, the manufacturer does not recommend combining other parts, so you must do so at your own risk (I myself use a combination of different models).

Bought this for hard use with a conversion on my previous batlas saver.

I don't mind that it is 1mm longer and has one more cut than all models, but I think the cut is weaker.
When I first started darts, I preferred a barrel with a tighter cut, but as I got used to it, this one became just right.

I have been using Saber acute 18g and bought this batlass for a little more weight.
The weight has been increased and I now have an ideal flying feel.

I was concerned that the core shaft might loosen due to the use of the batlass, but I am able to throw the ball without any concern at all.

I prefer the stronger cut after the minor change, so I changed only the rear part.

The cut of the old Saber can be used for a good release, so I think it depends on the individual's preference.

The core shaft is made of SUS, and this is the biggest difference compared to the one of Saber Kaihi (NO.5).

There is a part that can be adjusted to one's own taste, and if the cut wears out, there is also the advantage of being able to revive it simply by changing the rear parts.

If you use a saber, I think this is the barrel I can recommend most.
