Mitsumasa Hoshino "PYRO.3" is born!

The final chapter of the "PYRO" series has finally arrived.
This time, the grip area that Hoshino derived is a combination of a large delta cut and gear-like groove.
After many prototypes and balance tests, he finally arrived at the ultimate "PYRO" path.
This is the barrel of fire, Hoshino!

The third and final chapter in the series features a combination of three delta cuts and geared grooves.
The gold coating is one of the features of the PYRO series, and the whole design is finished in bicolor.
The flight is made of UV coated VISON ULTRA FLIGHT.

First of all, making a successor to the PYRO.3 was a difficult process in itself.
The reason is simple: we had to surpass the famous PYRO. and PYRO.2.
The gears and deltas give your fingers the stimulation of points, lines and surfaces.
Once you hold it, you can't stop, that's how this barrel was born!

対談インタビュー

インタビュー新作バレルの発売決定おめでとうございます。率直にパイロ.3を使ってみての感想を教えて下さい。
星野光正いいものが出来たな、というのが第一印象です。「バレルが指に与える刺激」という部分をテーマにして、パイロの制作に取り組んできました。他のバレルを持った時に、物足りなくなるくらいインパクトのある感触です。
インタビュー実際にターゲットの中国工場へ行ってサンプルを投げたとお聞きしましたが、特にどのあたりをこだわりましたか？
星野光正僕がバレルを作るうえで、マイナーチェンジにはしたくない、という思いが常にあります。「こんなの投げてみたいです」というリクエストをして、図面とにらめっこしながら、「これは今までないだろうな」という感触、見た目にこだわりました。
インタビューちなみに、工場でサンプルを作る場合というのは、どれくらいの時間で出来上がるものなのですか？
星野光正工場では平常運転で商品を作っていますし、ハルキ(村松治樹プロ)のサンプルも作りながら、という状況でしたが、それでも1時間～3時間くらいのペースで作ってもらいました。その待ち時間はずっと「ああでもない、こうでもない」という会議でしたね。
インタビュー今回は重量が17.0gという設定ですが、これは星野プロが今まで使用したバレルの中では最重量ですよね。
星野光正指に与える刺激は、カットだけではなく重さでもプラス出来るんじゃないかな、と考えました。それとは別に、パイロユーザーから直接お話しを聞くと、「もう少し重かったら」という声も多かったんですよね。より多くの人に使って欲しい、手にとって欲しいと思ったのと、僕自身が重いものを使ってみたかったので、今回は1gアップの17.0gにしました。
インタビュープロトタイプでは16gから18gまで投げたとのことですが、その中で17gになった決め手はどこにあったのでしょうか。
星野光正自分のモデルを持つ人が、1gアップするというのは、大胆な選択です。僕の場合、17.5gを超えてくると「重たい」という感覚が腕に出てきました。今の自分とパイロ.3にとってのベストは、17.0gだと思っています。
インタビューインプレッション動画のフォーム撮影時に「矢速が上がった」という発言がありましたが、これはバレルの重量増によるものですか？
星野光正重さというよりはグリップのカットですね。パイロ.1やパイロ.2と比べたら、今作はキツく感じると思います。しかし、ギリギリの抜けの良さを出すために、カットの組み合わせやバランスを考えて作っていきました。

例えば、弱いカットを好む人が、めちゃ強いカットのバレルを使ったら、鋭く投げられても、下に叩き落としてしまうと思います。僕もそうです。もし、これで抜けが良かったら、抜群の飛びと角度を生み出せるんじゃないだろうか、というところが「ギリギリの抜けの良さ」の真意です。
インタビュープロトタイプの1stサンプルでは、ギアグリップが並んだだけのような形ですが、これだと星野プロにとってはキツすぎましたか？
星野光正ギアグリップが全面に並ぶと、見た目以上にかかるんですよね。これを調整するために、サンプルでは列によって高さを変えてみたりもしました。最終的に、パイロ.1で使用したデルタカットをギアグリップの間に配置することで、かかりすぎないフィーリングを実現しました。
インタビューバレルの前方にパイロ.1と同じレーザー刻印が入っていますが、これはどのようなイメージをモチーフとされたのでしょうか？
星野光正僕の二つ名が「炎の皇帝」なので、炎をベースに、星野の「星」を入れてもらいました。これは、ターゲットUKの方が、炎をまとった星をイメージして考えてくれたそうです。
インタビュー中国へ行った際のおみやげ話などがありましたら、お聞かせください。
星野光正滞在最終日に海鮮料理屋さんに連れてってもらったんですよ。その時にまぁまぁ生臭いものが出てきて、軽くエイドリアン氏に文句言いました(笑)

工場内での話になりますが、僕は今まで「どういう機械で作っているか」というのはわかっていたのですが、「どうやって作るのか」というのは知りませんでした。昔ながらの機械と、最新式の機械で「こうも違うのか」と、初日からそのギャップに驚かされました。ターゲットの凄さを目の前で見せてもらったのは、良い経験になりました。
インタビューそれでは最後になりますが、今年の抱負をお願いします！
星野光正いつも僕が思ってることでもあるんですが、スポンサー様・ファンの方々の期待に応えたいという気持ちが強いので、良い結果を残して、皆さんに喜んで頂きたいです。また、どんな結果が出ても受け止めてくれる自分の家族のためにも、ただただ前を向いて頑張っていきたいです。

I tried it on at the store and bought it immediately.

My impression is that it just flies great!
The center of gravity is more toward the front, so it may not be suitable for people who throw in a mountainous direction.
But it is great for flying straight and flying quickly.
The weight is 1g heavier than the previous model, but I think it is now more suitable for everyone.
I use the following settings for reference.

　Flight: Shape
　Shaft: Carbon Lock Straight 295
　Tip: Condor

The first priority was to pursue a good release. In this sense, PYRO3 is clearly different.

First of all, to speak briefly about this barrel, it makes you think, "Oh, I have a barrel now.
Then, when you throw the barrel, it mysteriously blows up.
It is not as big as the BigBandy series, but it blows up more than the original PYRO.
The main cut is not as tight as it looks in the picture, but it does not mean that it does not have a sticking point. It is firm. The delta cut is also nice. The weight is 17g, but it feels so heavy that it is hard to believe it is 17g.
I think this barrel is suitable to be called the last chapter of PYRO.
