I purchased a Phil Taylor G4 in the past and used the shaft that came with it as a test.
To be honest, this shaft is not suitable for soft darts, and even for steel darts, you need to have a good understanding of stacking techniques and how your arrows fly to get the best performance out of it.

It is very nice that the shaft is metal, so unlike plastic, there is no danger of it breaking when it is played.
However, the shaft does not break, so it is better to think that all the damage will be done to the aluminum head and the flight. Aluminum heads bend quickly and are difficult to repair, and you will always carry several aluminum heads with you.
If you are not a fan of metal shafts, I recommend you to use metal shafts. If you have a metal shaft, I recommend it, but if you don't, I don't recommend it. The center of gravity also seems to be slightly behind the original position of the barrel.
