What is "Kuroshinchu" ?
It is a triple process of mirror finishing + coating + mirror finish.
First, a mirror finish is applied as in the case of Shin-uchi,
Then, purple-black coating is applied,
Finally, a second mirror finish is applied on top of the coating to the extent that the coating does not peel off.
The result is an unparalleled bright and lustrous mirror-finish coated barrel.
The grip is different from that of Shin-Uchi and normal coated barrels, and has a unique feel.

The coating gradually fades and peels off as the barrel ages with use.
