The coating and polish makes the cut slipping, but it is still throwable and the cut doesn't get caught in the wrong direction and fly in the opposite direction.
The only drawback is that the barrel is so smooth that it takes more force than usual to pull it off the board.
(Probably the compatibility between the board and the tip)
