Paul Lim is hailed as a “LEGEND” by darts fans around the world. The LEGEND GEN10 embodies the experience and philosophy of a player who has continued to excel on the world’s top stages for over 50 years.

While retaining the classic front taper shape that symbolizes the series, it features a newly designed grip that offers a different feel at the front and back. This design ensures a stable grip and smooth release regardless of the grip position. Furthermore, reflecting Paul Lim’s passion for horse racing, the barrel design incorporates the beauty of horse tack, while the packaging pays homage to the legendary racehorse “Red Rum.”
This signature model combines elegance and functionality, truly living up to the name “LEGEND.”

Superior Control Delivered by the Classic Front Taper
Featuring the classic front taper shape that symbolizes the LEGEND series, this design allows fingers to settle naturally and enables a smooth push toward the intended line, resulting in stable throws and exceptional control. This shape—which Paul Lim has relied on for many years—delivers a reassuring feel. It makes it easy to establish a rhythm and allows you to release the disc with confidence even under pressure; this outline is the core of the LEGEND series.

The ideal grip created by TARGET’s unique “trapezoidal cut”
TARGET’s proprietary trapezoidal cut is incorporated into both the rear and front sections of the grip area. The three-dimensional cut shape secures the fingers from multiple directions, creating a stable hold and superior grip. While firmly transferring power to the barrel, it minimizes resistance when releasing the fingers, supporting smooth, highly repeatable throws.

The size, spacing, and placement of the trapezoidal cuts have been optimized separately for the rear and front sections. The rear section features cuts oriented vertically, designed so that fingers naturally rest on them from multiple angles. Pole Rim himself fine-tuned the spacing of the cuts down to the finest detail, achieving a balance between a natural, non-restrictive fit and ease of handling. The front section features a layout with finer, horizontally oriented cuts, delivering a milder touch than the rear while still providing ample grip for players who grip the front of the barrel.

Red Rum is a national hero in the UK, often hailed as “the most famous racehorse.” He achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Grand National—one of the world’s premier steeplechase races—three times and finishing as runner-up twice, continuing to compete at the highest level for many years. His indomitable spirit and enduring presence, which continue to resonate in people’s memories across generations, mirror the career of Paul Lim, who has competed at the world’s highest level for over 50 years.

“The G10 is a special model for me in many ways. First, this year marks my 10th year with TARGET.
I still remember my very first G1 clearly.
I designed this G10 not only to suit myself but also to be used by a wide range of players—from experienced players to those just starting out in darts. For the color scheme, we’ve used a silica coating that gives it a classic look.
And the most significant change is that we’ve reversed the grip pattern from the G9 to make it easier to hold and provide a more solid feel. I found that the trapezoidal grip with slightly wider spacing felt better in the hand and made it easier to control the dart—from pushing it forward to releasing it—during the throw.

I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean once you actually try throwing it. Please give it a try. I’m sure you’ll love this G10 just as much as I do. Have fun and throw it with all your might!”
