I took the plunge and bought one now that my settings were solidified.
I had heard that carbon is hard to break, but two of them broke from the flight side within a month.
I would like to think that I was unlucky.

It will not break unless you are very careful.
There is almost no sensation of loosening of the flight.
There are many lengths to choose from, so you can find the one that fits you best.

With carbon, I don't think it will break unless something really bad happens.
You may think 13mm is "too short," but try throwing it for practice.
Surprisingly, you can use it to correct your habits.

Two of them broke very quickly in two months.
They were burst and dropped, so they could not withstand the impact.

It is more expensive than a regular shaft, but if you are a frequent breaker, carbon may be a better choice for you in terms of total cost.
