I use folded flights with hard darts, and since I started using Shell Lock, I can play without stress because I no longer get stuck in the flight inserts on the shaft.

Fold up the flight! and opens the folded flight to a 90 degree angle.
It is an excellent part that prevents the shaft from being damaged by subsequent darts.

I am now attaching it to a hard dart cloth flight. Cloth flights are not easy to open to 90 degrees due to their characteristics, but a regular folding flight will open to almost 90 degrees.
I have a small hole on the tip of the shell lock due to the point of the hard dart being stuck in it. I don't have any problem while using it, but I'm worried that it might break if I crash into it again...
Considering this, I think that if there were something made of metal like a champagne ring or something like a back balance, it would improve the durability and expand the range of settings....

I used to be a fan of L flights, but they wear out fast, so recently I have been using folding flights. I have been using the folded flight for a while now, but it is wearing out fast, so I have been using the folded flight.
It takes a little trick to fit it in. Just position the groove and screw it on with a "snap" and it goes in. The size is one size larger than the Champagne Ring, but the handling is almost the same. The drawback is that it is easy to come off if you do not insert the flight into the back of the ring tightly. If possible, it is best to use them with the L-shaft carbon to ensure a snug fit.
