In a word, this product is a punch that punches holes in documents.
Remove the white lid at the bottom and discard the part you have punched out.
The body is plated cast metal and has the brand name laser-engraved on it.
The handle is also made of metal, which I think is sufficient considering the price.
The only thing that bothers me is that the part that pushes the square bar, which requires a lot of force, is made of resin.
(I think this was inevitable since it is the part that needs to be slid.)
I have drilled about 10 sets (30 sheets) so far and have had no problems.
As for the force required to punch the holes, for reference, an S4 flight can punch about 10 sheets of copy paper.
For example, with an S4 flight, it takes about the same force to close 10 sheets of copy paper with a stapler.
If the flight is hard or you are not strong enough, it would be easier to use both hands.
For normal flights, the position is firmly set by the guide.
In the case of teardrop flights, it moves from side to side, so you will need to fine-tune the position to open it.
The actual size of the body is 25mm wide, 62mm deep, and 52mm high.
The hole size is 2 x 5.5mm in actual measurement. The spring ring was just right.

Since molded flights are becoming more common, you don't see them much anymore, but if you don't use molded flights, you should have one.
However, it is recommended that those who do not use molded flights should have one.

It was bigger than I expected, so I couldn't put it in the place I planned.
But it is easy to use! And the holes open up nicely!

It is very convenient to have one of these...sometimes I forget to ask for one at the store.
