I bought this to see how heavy back against the darts would change things! I bought this a long time ago, but if you don't find the right setting for you, it may not change the flight.
In my case, I tried to lengthen the shaft and started using it, but when I threw a dart, it flopped and didn't stick well if the back of the dart felt long and heavy against the dart.
I was told to use a back balance for the initial setting, and the darts stung properly. The darts would go right where I put my hand!
I would recommend this product to anyone who is worried about the flight of darts because they think a little weight won't change the flight of darts.

The darts have a more solid weight than I had imagined, and I felt that the flight and sting were sharper.
Depending on the person, the back of the dart may drop before it sticks into the board, making it more likely to be bounced.
