Because of its weight
Just a light swing is all you need
You can get a good arrow speed with a light swing.
It's a very thin rod.
The grip part, the cut part.
It is a little thick here, so you may think it looks thin.
But when you hold it
It fits perfectly!
Moreover, the cut is not easily deteriorated.

We decided on this one after trying out more than a dozen of them.
In the end, I compared it with Hannya No.5 of the same Dynasty and the Black Sword Matsukaze, but I decided on this one because it had a better grouping and I enjoyed the feeling of a thud when I threw it and it stuck in the board!
With the included settings, I feel that the center of gravity is generally balanced near the first cut in the center of the barrel.
The cut section from the center also has a subtle curvature to it, so I felt it was easy to hold.
If you want to throw with the center of gravity, you can adjust it by using a longer shaft.

The grip position is as it looks, but much better.
It is also a barrel that flies well because it takes a good cut. It is easy to make a straight line.
However, the barrel flies too straight, so even a slight misdirection can be seen as a deviation from the line. However, if you can make it fly well, it will fly in the image of the line you are aiming for, so it draws a pleasant line.
The length of the barrel is also just right, so even if you grip it with 3 fingers, the line fits nicely in your hand, so it is not too much or not enough in your hand.
In my case, I set up the barrel with a slightly longer shaft, so the center of gravity is balanced at the mid-front.
The grip point is also easy to find, so it is easy to throw.

I have been test pitching it.
I found it to be the least habit-forming of the three new katanas.
It flies beautifully on both push and swing throws, the cut is stable, and the weight is standard, so the stability is good.
The NO.5 barrel is thin and has a very high benefit, and I think it is very advantageous for grouping.
