First of all, it looks good.

DMC metal champagne rings fit easily, and of course plastic champagne rings can be used without any problem.

The holding power of carbon is still very strong.

Compared to a regular silent, the rotation rate is a little less.
However, the rotation rate is the minimum required on the board side, so it is more stable and easier to fly.

Then there is the price.
Normally, adding the Silent mechanism to the regular L-Shaft would roughly double the price, but I think it is quite wonderful that you can buy a carbon Rockshaft and this Silent for the same price.

It's a pretty versatile shaft, that's for sure, and since it's made of carbon, it's going to last a long time, so it's pretty cost-effective, too!
