I came across this barrel when I wanted to fly darts in a straighter line at a time when I was getting over being a darts beginner. I used to use Harrows ice before.
When I first held it, it felt heavy, but it fit well in my hand and my grip, and it flew well in the direction I was aiming.
I highly recommend this barrel to anyone who wants to fly straight!

I think it is a very good barrel for gripping and throwing the Quattro Cut.
My grip position changed a while after I started playing darts, but I have changed the setting so that I can grip the Quattro Cut.

Recommended for beginners.
The quattro cut limits the way you hold the barrel, so it is not suitable for those who have a fixed way of holding the barrel.
If you are a beginner, you can force yourself to adjust your grip to this barrel, and your grip will be stable every time, so your progress will be faster!

The weight of the barrel alone is 18.5g, so it feels very heavy.
However, the cut is good and it flies straight with little force.
The attached tip does not stick well with Darts Live 2, and it breaks easily, so I am currently using a lip point instead. It feels stable in the hand and flies with little force, so I recommend it even for beginners.

This dart has a special grip, and I was able to throw it without any discomfort when I first purchased it, but recently I am considering purchasing a different barrel because I have a feeling that it rolls around in my fingers when I release it, as if I have changed the way I throw.

Frankly speaking, it is a barrel that is very selective in its user.
It is a barrel that suits those who can use it well. I think you can experience a considerable level of flight and initial velocity.
If it is not suitable for you, it will not be suitable for you. Worst case scenario, you may lose control of it.
(Especially, people with strong wrist swing should be careful...)
If you want to use it in actual competition, you should try it out at least once, unless it is for collection. The soles have different phasor characteristics.

Also, the shaft that comes with this model......the part that holds the flight is bent so easily that you should always have two sets of spares on hand.
(It seems to be much better than the old model, but...)

Here are my impressions of the test throws.

I'm throwing the dart with a left-handed rotation.
It is more difficult to throw than the conventional 9FIVE because of the disturbing sensation of flapping and rolling in my fingers.

If you get used to this sensation, stability and repeatability will be better than conventional ones. If you are thinking of stepping up from 9FIVE and improving reproducibility and stability, I think this model is recommended.

I tried it out at a tournament. If you gave up on the previous 9FIVE original because you felt it was too thick, please give these 2 a try! The maximum diameter is the same, but it is thinner because the back is hollowed out. And the shallow quattro-cut and flat ground contact surface make the grip more secure and stable.
If you want to use a hollow dart to fix your grip position, but the current hollow darts are too deep, we recommend this dart. The flight is excellent, just like the previous model. You can aim in a straight line!

Compared to the previous Generation 1, the quattro-cut gives a sharper impression.

With my grip, the quattro cut feels comfortable in my fingers when I hold it, and wraps around the pixel cut and spiral cut when I hold it.
It is an easy to throw barrel that you can feel the weight.

The Quattro Cut is applied on four sides of the barrel, and I think this model is distinct from other barrels with a clear grip position that is depressed all the way around.
