【TARGET】SOLO GENERATION-2 Keita Ono Model Steel 's Japan Review

I purchased this barrel on the day it was released and threw it immediately.
The barrel is very easy to throw. I have used the previous model before, and this new model is also very good barrel. It is straight, but not that thin, so even those who only throw Torpedo will be able to easily get used to it.
The front and rear settings can be swapped, but I could not tell the difference. I have only thrown it for one day, so I would like to change it depending on the conditions.

As a lover of straight barrels, I felt this barrel was a bit of a waste.
The black matte part of the R is a bit of a distraction....
I really don't need it in the front or in the back, and I personally think it's not good for me, combined with the thickness of the barrel.
I personally felt that if the barrel is not at least 0.4mm thinner, it would be easy to lose throws due to unnecessary force.

It was a delicate barrel for me. I decided to purchase this barrel after test throwing it at a darts store. I was curious about this barrel, so I bought it right away, but I threw it for about 2 weeks. I was not so sure about the black coating.
I mainly use the matte-grip coated barrels.
The other day at a big darts tournament, I was throwing with the matte grip one, but the microgroove was still there, but the coating peeled off quickly, so I switched to the silica coated one halfway through the tournament. Then the results were surprisingly good!
I would like to use the matte grip finish in the summer and the silica coated one in the winter.
I would like to buy several of these for ornamental purposes and such because they look so good.

I bought it a year ago and have been using it ever since.
Thanks to the micro delta cut, it catches well on my fingers and I can grip it.
I think it is also good that it is hard to lose track of the grip position.

It is lighter and shorter than the Maestro and Gomez, which have the same straight barrel.
It is suitable for those who want a straight barrel but prefer a lighter or shorter barrel.
I personally like it so much that I am not sure if I will buy a second one.

This is the barrel I am interested in, but the center of gravity is not in the middle of the barrel, so I am concerned that if I replace it, the center of gravity will be shifted.
I think the visual aspect is 100 points.

For the first time I found a barrel that fits me perfectly.
The grip is a 3 finger with the middle finger on the tip, and the shape of the barrel is not relevant to the throw. However, since I grip in front of the middle of the barrel, I grip the part without a cut, and until now, it didn't feel right to me. The barrel I was using was a Butrus Saber, and one day I threw a Sidewinder that an acquaintance of mine was using, and I had a very good impression of it. I also happened to have a chance to try the Solo 2, which I also had a good impression of.
There were two decisive factors: 1) The position of the cut. The milling in the middle is in an exquisite position, and in my case, it just overlaps with my index finger. This serves as a landmark that allows me to grip it in the same position even after three throws. I had the same impression with the side milling, but the solo milling was easier to understand. I personally feel as if I am holding an old-fashioned hexagonal pencil when I grip it, which leads to the ease of my own throwing.
Even though it has changed from the Batras Saber, I do not have the impression that it is that much lighter or longer than the Batras Saber.
It has been a long time, or rather the first time, that I have met a good barrel. I will take good care of it.
