I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who is about to start playing darts! I bought it as a gift for her because she is a friend of mine who is going to start playing darts.
She always throws house darts, so she was surprised at the weight of the brass darts.

I think this is a great set for beginners.

Since this is my first purchase as a beginner, I can only compare it to house darts, but I still think it is easier to throw since it is heavier than house darts.
As for the quality, I think it is good considering the price. However, the cross grooves on the shafts (the two longer ones) are so loose that the flights come off easily, so I would like to see this area improved in the future.
