Anyway, it is heavy. It is rear-weighted. Sticks to the board and hangs down.

I attached it to an Aztec 14K and threw it. It became quite a difficult dart, but I think it is good for practicing flying! It is a shaft that is too selective about who uses it. I feel like I would only buy it if I was in the mood and had a lot of momentum...but I don't dislike it.

With this much weight, it is not enough to simply move the center of gravity backward.
If you put it on a lighter, forward center of gravity barrel, it will be like throwing something heavy on both ends, like an iron array, and it will be quite violent.
It'll hurt the board, too, and you probably shouldn't expect it to be practical on soft.
Of the ones I tried, the Javelin from Harrods Weapon Series was a relatively good match.

Anyway, it is a heavy shaft.
I bought it on a whim, but when I tried throwing it with a brass dart rapier (weighing about 20.5g), it did not fly well...
So I use it exclusively with hard darts.

It makes the darts heavier, so if you use it with soft darts, the platform will deteriorate faster. Use it only to the extent that the store staff does not get angry with you.

It is made heavy and can be changed to a rear center of gravity.

This is a very selective model.
The center of gravity is extremely backward, but it is better to think of the barrel as being longer by the shaft than to think of it as having a rear center of gravity.
I think this is good for people who have a straight release and want a rear center of gravity. For those who want a moderate rear center of gravity, it may be better to put a weighted ball in the barrel.
I don't recommend this for most people, because the grouping can cause a lot of wear and tear, and the seams can be damaged quickly on inexpensive dartboards.
