Very hard to break! I bought the carbon because the nylon shaft broke too often and it is very durable. I would recommend buying the expensive but unbreakable carbon instead of buying a lot of nylon that breaks.

The stress of breaking the shaft due to poor flying and being played has been eliminated. I like that it has anti-loosening rubber in it, and if the price was just a little lower, it would be perfect!
